VICE CHAIRMAN OF TAY NINH PEOPLE’S COMMITTEE – MR. PHAM TAN HOA VISITS AND WORKS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

On July 8, 2025, Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh People’s Committee, Mr. Pham Tan Hoa, had a working session with the Department of Science and Technology to review performance in the first half of the year and discuss directions for upcoming tasks.

At the meeting, the leadership of the Department of Science and Technology reported on the organizational structure, personnel situation, and the reception and implementation of tasks in the fields of science and technology and digital transformation after the merger. The Department is gradually stabilizing its operations, ensuring the continuity of work in accordance with the planned professional agenda.

In the first six months of the year, the Department completed 9 out of 16 key tasks assigned by the Provincial People’s Committee, while the remaining 5 tasks are being implemented on schedule. Overall, the Department’s work has been carried out appropriately and steadily.

The Department has also paid attention to maintaining and developing systems and software serving the operation of the two-tier local government, such as synchronously deploying the document management system at 100% of departments, sectors, and localities; expanding it to 100% of commune- and ward-level People’s Committees after administrative rearrangement; and continuing to implement solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of online public service delivery.

At the same time, the Department presented the difficulties and obstacles encountered during its operations and proposed effective solutions to address them.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – Mr. Pham Tan Hoa commended the efforts of the Department of Science and Technology over the past months, especially during the crucial period of preparing for the operation of the two-tier local government model on July 1. He expressed his expectation that the department’s leadership, officials, and staff will continue to unite, overcome difficulties, and maintain a spirit of solidarity and efficiency in organizational operations.

At the same time, he requested the Department of Science and Technology to promptly review and finalize the set of administrative procedures, and closely coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs in the delegation and decentralization of authority to ensure a smooth and convenient process for citizens and enterprises.
