On the morning of September 23, 2025, the Summary Workshop of the Forum on Industrial and Trade Development in Ho Chi Minh City was held to review more than two months of forum implementation. The event was jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, and UEH-ISB Talent School, aiming to develop and propose solutions to promote the industrial and trade development of the city in the new phase.

The forum was launched in July 2025 with a series of in-depth seminars and discussions. To date, the Organizing Committee has received more than 150 research papers and proposals from domestic and international scholars, experts, and business leaders. As a knowledge and practice bridge, UEH-ISB Talent School has been directly involved in the process of analyzing and synthesizing data, thereby forming key solution groups presented at the summary workshop.
The studies and proposals focused on positioning Ho Chi Minh City as a leading regional hub for Industry – Trade – Logistics, while simultaneously promoting trade, enhancing competitiveness, and building the city into Vietnam’s foremost commercial center.
At the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy – Academic Director of UEH-ISB Talent School, emphasized that the forum had mobilized intellect, dedication, and social responsibility from various sectors. She also reaffirmed UEH-ISB’s commitment to accompanying the city in transforming research ideas into practical and actionable solutions.

The forum not only served as a platform for gathering opinions but also reflected the consensus and collective efforts of researchers, businesses, and policymakers. As an “academic nucleus”, UEH-ISB has contributed to disseminating knowledge and bridging the scientific community with socio-economic practices. This serves as a solid foundation for Ho Chi Minh City to realize its vision of becoming a modern, globally competitive industrial–commercial–service megacity fully integrated into the international arena.
